A paper offering ideas of how to facilitate better relationships between representatives, Rob Salter’s paper on electorate level mobilization at a community level. The list introduces civil engagement in democracy through a set of 5 essential actions.

In their paper Theorizing acts of citizenship Nielsen et al. examine theories of how active citizenship is mediated between experiences lived and formal entitlements used to map out, confine extend and enact the boundaries of belonging to a polity.

Engaging at the community and electorate levels helps; Active Democracy Australia offers one avenue and the Community Independents Project another.
