Education for Civics

All state/territory and the federal parliaments have education offices with lots of resources and information for schools and the general public that cover how Australian governments work, how elections are run and what voting systems are used. Some also cover local government.

The Parliamentary Education Office (PEO) educates Australians about, and inspires their enthusiasm for, Australia’s parliamentary democracy.

CAPaD has an Education for Civics project. Look at the Education for Civics tab here.
